Handmade papmache items were and are a way to get cheap interiors and utility products in the Indian household. They have been used for food storage, e.g. storage of corn, cereals, rice and lentils.\nThe pot is beautiful with dried flowers and grasses - or just exactly as it is. You can also fill in sand and top it with a few pillar candles. The pot is not waterproof, so if you want a green plant in, you can place an ordinary flowerpot down in the papmache pot.
